Visit of the Turkish delegation to the MMW Grain Terminal

On June 30, 2021, a Turkish delegation consist of the managing director of KIBAR DIS TICARET A.S., head of trading at Wilben Trade and partners of the logistics department of Veketa paid a working visit to the MMW Grain Terminal.

The visit was aimed at getting acquainted with MMW as an export grain terminal and discussing key issues of cooperation.

The guests were greeted by the General Director of MMW Grain Terminal Choi Hayoung. Excursion around the territory of the 10th berth of the Mykolaiv Sea Port, as well as the Grain Terminal, were conducted by specialists of the MMW Grain Terminal and the company’s partner – LLC “YSCL”. Directors of the operational and marketing departments gave the tour to our guests and represented the technological processes and operating principles of the terminal, the total storage capacity of which is 142,000 MT. Also, such objects as the conveyor gallery connecting the terminal with the 10th berth of the Mykolaiv Sea Port and the shiploader with a capacity of 1000 MT per hour were presented to the guests’ attention.

It should be noted that according to forecasts of experts from the US Department of Agriculture in Ukraine, an increase of the grain harvest is expected in the new 2021-2022 year. Consequently, the interest from foreign companies in the export of grain crops will only grow.

We remind that the MMW Grain Terminal is a modern export terminal with high-tech equipment. The terminal handled 1.2 million tons of grain in the 2020 calendar year as the first operating year.
