Certificate of Compliance With the Requirements of the International Standard IS0 22000: 2018

We are proud to announce that the high level of operation of the Grain Terminal of PJSC MMW has been approved again, this time by the certificate of compliance with the requirements of the international standard IS0 22000: 2018 “FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS”, international system HAACP.

        The abbreviation HACCP was borrowed from the English and means Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

       The essence of HACCP principles is in follows: at all stages of production of a particular food product, from raw materials to sales of finished products, in each technological operation, it is necessary to identify hazardous factors that can threaten product safety (microbiological, toxicological, mechanical, physical, etc. e.) and provide process management that eliminates or reduces the impact of these factors.

       To improve the control of all production processes, the ability to stably provide safe products that meet consumer requirements, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has developed and published the ISO 22000 standard, which summarizes the experience of implementing quality management systems and HACCP principles in different countries in measures of the current national standards and sets requirements for product safety management system throughout the whole food chain.

        In the period of October 4-5, 2021, the international conformity assessment body, the company FE “SGS Ukraine” conducted a certification audit for compliance with the requirements of the international standard IS0 22000: 2018 at the Grain Terminal PJSC MMW.

       All grain handling units are certified for compliance with the requirements of the HACCP system:

– grain acceptance by motor and railway transport;

– sampling and determination of grain quality;

– finishing of grain, if necessary (cleaning and drying);

– grain storage;

– shipment of grain at water transport.

      The compliance of the enterprise and the implemented system with the requirements of the IS0 22000: 2018 standard was confirmed by the auditor of the world-renowned independent organization FE “SGS UKRAINE”. The result was the auditor’s recommendation to provide our Terminal with an international certificate of compliance with the requirements of the international standard IS0 22000: 2018 “FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. Requirements for any organizations in the food chain” with registration of the certificate in the UKAS system – United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
