Grain Terminal “MMW” visited a children’s facility in Warsaw: assistance to Ukrainian families

On September 13, 2024, the leadership of the Grain Terminal “MMW,” headed by the CEO and CFO, together with representatives from POSCO INTERNATIONAL Corporation, visited a children’s kindergarten in Warsaw, Poland. This facility provides shelter for children and families from Ukraine, including those who arrived from Mykolaiv after the start of the full-scale invasion.

The kindergarten, created to support Ukrainian families, has become a true refuge for children far from home. Most of the children attending this facility are from various parts of Ukraine, forced to leave their homes due to the war. This institution has become a place where they can find new opportunities for learning, development, and interaction with other children.

During the visit, the representatives of the MMW Grain Terminal donated charitable assistance to the children, including toys and sweets. All the gifts for the children, purchased with the support of POSCO INTERNATIONAL, not only lifted the children’s spirits but also made them feel that they are not alone in their struggles and challenges. This gesture of support and care aimed to restore some joy and cheerfulness to the children, which they had lost due to the difficult times they are experiencing.

“This visit was very important for us. We wanted not only to help, but also to show that we do not forget about those who are currently going through difficult moments in their lives. We strive to support Ukrainian families in any corner of the world, and our partners from POSCO INTERNATIONAL are actively involved in this initiative,” said the CEO of MMW. Grain Terminal MMW and POSCO INTERNATIONAL continue to actively support charitable events, contributing to improving the lives of children affected by the war. This visit is another step towards mutual support and helping those in need during challenging times.
