Ukrainian corn is successfully transshipped to the panamax vessel sold by Posco Int’l to Korea

On the 3rd week of May, MMW Grain Terminal successfully transshipped corn from the 10th berth of the Mykolaiv seaport to the Panamax vessel sold by POSCO International to the Korean Starch Sugar Association (KCPIA). According to POSCO International, the supply of Ukrainian corn to the Korean Starch Sugar Association is a stepping stone for expanding the supply of Ukrainian corn to Korea, which has a low level of food self-sufficiency. And also this delivery is a deal of great importance for the country.

From the point of view of grain terminals, MMW plans to continue shipping Ukrainian grain to China and Asia, including Korea, as well as to constantly expand the terminal’s transshipment volumes.

“We are making every effort to implement the plan to transship more than 2 mln tons in 2021-2022.”
